Your Viator account

Each approved affiliate supplies identifiers from their own authorized Viator account. Paste a link created by Viator’s link tool into the portal; the site extracts its PID and MCID. These identifiers are not your Viator password or API key. You are responsible for supplying the correct account details and complying with your Viator agreement.

Referral links and attribution

Your share links can open the homepage, an island or a category. When an eligible referral is recognized, the site uses that affiliate’s stored PID and MCID on its tracked Viator links. Visitors without an eligible referral use Barefoot Hawaii’s default identifiers. Browser settings, expired referral cookies, account eligibility and provider rules can affect attribution. Barefoot Hawaii does not guarantee commissions or a particular payment outcome. Viator determines eligibility, attribution and payment under its own agreement with the affiliate; Barefoot Hawaii does not collect and redistribute these commissions.

Category choices and premier listings

Affiliates may hide entire categories from their referred visitors and choose to show only listings with Viator offers. A sponsored premier activity remains visible even in Viator-only mode unless its whole category is hidden. Premier links may open the operator’s own checkout and do not promise a Viator referral commission.

Agency services are separate

Creating a website account does not purchase agency services, reserve category exclusivity, start a subscription or establish a 12-month contract. Any paid agency relationship, term, renewal, category reservation and promotional placement must be specified in a separate signed agreement. Do not rely on an old price, trial or ebook offer as a current contract.
